When life throws lemons at you, grab them and make lemonade! This adage is epitomized by the story of the introduction of Bel Aqua Mineral Water.
In 2010, Blow Plast- Blow Group’s Plastics Manufacturer, launched its PET Preforms Manufacturing business. Shortly after, one of the big four beverage manufacturers at the time contracted Blow Plast to supply all its PET Preform requirements. This contract was projected to astronomically transform Blow Plast’s business fortunes as it required an immediate ejection of capital to double production capacity in order to meet the customer’s monthly demands.
Here is the Lemonade part. After gathering capacity in preparation for the first order, Blow Plast received news from client about a change in management, who was not willing to do business with the company. What a blow this was.
Blow Plast was faced with two options- Protracted litigation, or make lemonades. Blow Group of Companies chose the latter, and decided to establish its own Water bottling company for which Blow Plast shall produce PET Preforms. Excess supply was efficiently mopped up. This is how your favorite Bel Aqua Mineral Water was birthed and with it, Blow Group’s Food and Beverages Company- Blow Chem Industries Limited.
